Brief History of Austin Metcalf's killing
What happened?
On April 2, 2025, at a high school track meet in Frisco, Texas, 17-year-old *Austin Metcalf* was stabbed and died.
It happened at Kuykendall Stadium. Austin was there with his school team, Memorial High School. There was a rain delay, and students were sitting under team tents.
Why did it happen?

1. Austin and his teammates told Karmelo Anthony, 17 from a different school, that he was in their team’s tent and needed to leave.
2. Karmelo refused to move. He told Austin, “Touch me and see what happens”.
3. The argument got heated. Some witnesses say Austin pushed or grabbed Karmelo.
4. Karmelo pulled out a knife and stabbed Austin once in the chest.
Austin’s twin brother Hunter was right there and tried to help him, but Austin died at the hospital.
