Miss You Ramadan



 Ramadan, the holy month of fasting

A time of spiritual renewal and casting

Away our mundane distractions and excesses

We seek to purify our hearts and confesses


The dawn breaks with the adhan's call

As the faithful prepare for the long haul

No food, no drink from dawn until dusk

But our faith remains unbroken and thus


We gather with family and friends each night

In the mosque, we pray with all our might

Breaking our fast with dates and water

And meals prepared with love and order


We give to charity and perform good deeds

To help those in need and plant good seeds

Our bond with Allah grows stronger each day

As we strive to follow His path without stray


The end of Ramadan brings Eid al-Fitr

A time of celebration, joy, and cheer

We thank Allah for His bounty and grace

And pray for guidance and blessings in this race 


Ramadan, the holy month of fasting

A time of spiritual renewal everlasting

May Allah bless us with His mercy and love

And guide us to the straight path from above.
